Open Question: How much would it cost to move to America?

I should be moving to Utah next year to live with my US citizen boyfriend, how much money will i need to save up? I'll be living with him so i don't need to buy a house but i wont have a job lined up, I don't even know yet what visa i'll be getting (Work/Fiance) and i want to be able to contribute a bit to him or we'll end up with no money...
